Step out the front door like a ghost into the fog, where no one notices the contrast of white on white. In between the moon and you, the angels get a better view, of the crumbling difference between wrong and right…
That lyric always spoke to me throughout my life. But, certainly more so once I stepped out for the first time, some years back. It’s a lyric from a song written by one of my favorite bands. And the haunting feel of those opening notes, and words, always stirred something inside of me.
For me, it speaks to the nuance of life. How so much of this life sits and rests comfortably in the gray. And how it takes time, and age, to realize that. And with that realization, acceptance. Once I started stepping out and looking for a physical and emotional connection outside of my marriage, I’d find myself thinking of that lyric often.
Ok, so a bit about me… I’m 52 yrs old, married over 20 yrs, with kids and living in north Jersey. Physically, I’m 6’01 and about 195 lbs. I work out and keep myself in pretty good shape. But listen, I’m not popping any shirt buttons over here. Let’s not get crazy! lol.
I’m a lover of old school punk rock music, morning coffee at 6am in a completely quiet house, butter pecan ice cream with caramel and Beastie Boys reaction videos on YouTube (don’t you dare judge me! 🤣).
A bit about you… Late 30’s-early 50’s, married with kids, local to north Jersey, you have done this before and know about good OPSEC. And you have daytime availability, with the ability to meet up 2-3x a month.
If my ad peeks your interest and you’d like to chat, I’d love to hear from you.
Oh, and if you know that lyric and who the band is without googling it, definitely DM me!
