You might say things are getting dark around here, and it’s not just the time change or the earlier sunsets. Maybe we’re just raging against the dying of the light, but I’m hoping to find someone to share a little spark and a lot of warmth with. That’s not to say I’m just a quick flame. Me:

I’m the proverbial “guy you don’t expect here”, the guy who holds the door at the restaurant, listens intently as you talk about your day, sends the text to make sure you made it home and also the one that makes you bite your lip, the guy who plans the date, makes the reservation, puts forth the effort.

Physically, I have all my hair and a short beard. I’m 6’1”, handsome, fit. Sometimes I pretend I can still play soccer and have convinced myself that pickleball is a noble athletic pursuit. I’m mature, patient, and self-aware – the deep-thinking, reflective type who enjoys thoughtful conversations. I’m educated, very liberal-minded (I've said all the bad words), and value open communication. Music and writing are my creative outlets (big fan of minor chords and oxford commas). I’m the dedicated dad who never misses a game and the level-headed guy comfortably in charge at work. I have a great career, but my work also doesn’t define me.

Sexually speaking, I’m attentive in the bedroom and comfortable being in control - respectfully. When you spend time learning each other’s bodies and minds and then letting go of inhibitions and worries… it’s transcendent.
