I’ve been feeling stuck in a situation that I genuinely don’t want to be in, but it’s incredibly challenging to escape. I’m certain that most of you reading this are experiencing similar feelings.
When I was 24, my parents arranged my marriage in India, a common practice. We talked for weeks before agreeing. It was a convenience marriage, but both families and I were happy. We explored our relationship, which was challenging but fun.
Now in Seattle, I work in tech and enjoy outdoor hobbies like gaming, climbing, and volunteering at the humane society. I’m not boring outside of Reddit. I have a unique music taste and might share playlists.
We’ve been together for a while, but our emotional bond is lacking. We’re emotionally out of sync, which affects our relationship. I don’t want to change anything, but talking to someone here makes my life easier. I’ve tried before, but it always ends up dying out. I hope to reconnect or find new people to chat with.
I don’t expect anything specific. I want a friendly connection with a bit of spice. It could lead to something more serious, but I won’t pressure you if you’re not comfortable. If you’re in a similar situation, maybe we can help each other out?
Thanks for reading! I hope to hear from you soon!
