It’s that time of year again; the weather’s finally getting cooler, Halloween decor abound, and the cravings have cropped back up in full-force yet again.

Pining for the touches, attentions, affections of someone new. Fantasizing about the electric feeling of becoming enraptured with someone you didn’t know existed until they waltzed into your view and made you ache with want. Finding comfort, and satisfaction, a safe space to be unashamedly real in. Not fearing revulsion or rejection when you muse on about your struggles with monogamy and your urges to explore and discover and revel in the beauty of others intimately.
Per Merriam-Webster, a ‘paramour’ is: an illicit or secret lover. That’s what I want need. Keyword lover. I want someone to care for. Have the physical aspects of the affair spur on the emotional, and the emotional aspects grow to a fever pitch and intensify the physical. I want to feel enriched by the rendezvouses, and do my damnedest to enrich as well. I want to care about you, your day, your frustrations, dreams, desires. I want to leave no shadow of a doubt on how desirable you are post-coitus — not that I would be silent and neglect to remind you of that, showing and telling’s best.
