looking for local, not online

I went to a networking event recently as a speaker and I had several people talk to me. One in particular sticks in my mind. He was waiting to speak to me and as I was about to step away he came to catch me. Of course there were questions pertaining to the event and my presentation but there was just something about his questions and making it sound like “there was more to it” than what I was saying. Now the more rational (and most likely correct) thought is that he was taking about my presentation and work, but the delusion (and BookTok obsessed) wants me to believe it was about me. My point is this- I miss that feeling. It’s been so long since I’ve been flirted with. Being chased, pursued. I’m kinda old fashioned in that way, but I know with all the social movements out there now (not to minimize them- some have validity to them), I know it makes guys think twice before approaching a woman. I guess I’m just saying that if I go to a bar or something, I would like to be sweet talked or something like that. Someone who is willing to shoot their shot and maybe get lucky at the end. Does any of that make sense?

Now just to clarify, because of the group we’re in- I’m not looking to change yours or my situation. Things are just a little boring right now.

Now I am looking to meet, I would maybe like something on going with texting if that’s your thing; or even a ONS if that is all you’re looking for.

About me: I’m 4’10” hwp with a little curve. I have long black hair and dark brown eyes As I mentioned I’m a little more old fashioned so I do like a man with a direct approach.

With that being said- with the subreddit we’re in, and how much effort I’m putting in to this search… please send more than a “how are you” post (yes I’ve had many just send one sentence… no sustenance- how am I supposed to be intrigued by that?)
