It's seemingly impossible to stand out in the crowded posts. Male after Male posting. All searching for their unicorn in a sea of sausage. I hate being the cliché and stereotypical middle aged man looking for more, yet here I am. Life is seemingly an endless supply of complicated contradictions and hypocrisies.

I feel as though I'm standing in front of the open refrigerator door. Tired of the same foods. Exhausted by having to make the effort to satisfy my cravings. You ask your spouse to make something new and exciting for you. Nothing. A cold bowl of cereal. Stale pizza. Leftovers from who knows how long ago. Nothing new. Nothing spicy. Nothing fresh. You're so tired of cooking for yourself - making an effort to try new recipes only to be told they don't even want to taste it. So it gets to the point where you don't want to eat the same shit, and would rather just go without. The hunger makes you angry. Resentful. There's food - right there, but it's not satisfying. You want to sample what someone else might have to offer, cook for someone new. Just to feel completely satisfied.

I'm not perfect. 39 white male. 6ft tall. Dad bod (I'm really working on it - tired of being that way). Beard. Enjoy being outdoors - boating, fishing, hunting, hiking. I work as an engineer. So things are pretty analytical and function over form in my head. Huge movie guy. I consume all genres and types.

About you:

Not be perfect, but not be a complete mess (emotionally and physically). Be female (sorry guys, to use the metaphor as before: I've sampled the other cuisines and they're just not for me). 29-49, I guess? Know what it's like to have everything, and nothing at the same time. Be willing to chat, but understand that I can't be available all the time - I communicate as clearly and often as possible what my availability and expectations are, but life happens.

I hope to chat, form a connection, and see if it progresses further from there. This is to be physical in the future, so please be relatively close and able to get away at times.
