I'm going to do my best to capture who I am, to be as transparent as possible.

I have a kid and a dog. Physically I am 5'7", have a stocky athletic build, I am strong and active (although I do have a little extra around the middle), I have dark hair and very pretty eyes. Most think I am handsome, but I know that is always subjective.

I am a hardworking, down to earth, intelligent, and caring person. I am someone that believes in accountability and hard work. One of my favorite quotes has always been "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." I know this may be an oversimplification of life, but I honestly believe that your outlook on life can play a huge role in how things turn out for you. I am witty, but I am generally more reserved around new people or in large groups. Around the right person (or people) | can be very talkative, and feisty though. I work as a Civil Engineer and although it can be a bit dry, I enjoy working on projects that improve my community, I worked my way through school with multiple jobs that included working on a fishing boat in Alaska over the summers.

I enjoy challenging myself and I love the outdoors. I am often most at peace when I am away from crowds and deep in the woods, up in the mountains, or out wading in a river while fly fishing. Some of my favorite days have been when I pushed myself to my physical and mental limits while braving the elements and seeing all that nature has to offer. My outdoor hobbies include downhill skiing, dirt biking, mountain biking, running, backpacking, fly fishing, and water sports. I do enjoy my relaxation time here and there though, whether it be cooking, wood working, reading, watching a show, or hanging out with close friends and family.

I am hoping to find someone with similar interests and lifestyle, Someone that I am attracted to mentally and physically, who is reagy for this sort of relationship and is willing to put in the time and work to truly form a relationship. What I can offer you is a person that will be happy to listen, to learn about you, and to grow with you in whatever direction our relationship takes us.
