Maybe you also happen to wake up each morning and feel like you’re stuck in your own version of Groundhog Day.
Maybe it's not like everything repeats verbatim, (and you don’t get time to learn to play the piano), but everything feels essentially the same. Like all the effort you put in the day before leads to some continues cycle without discernible progress. A bit sisyphean with your own personal rock.
Perhaps you’re simply stuck with someone who resembles a roommate, and any attempts to change the dynamic or rekindle the spark reset the next day, or the next week.
Do you look out the window and wish that maybe one morning you’ll get on the wrong train instead, and decide to meet me in Montauk.
Perhaps it's time to throw a monkey wrench into the circle.
I'm trying the same, but it helps when there's reciprocated effort. In turn, I am an open book when provoked, sometimes an soul, a romantic at heart, an exhausted dad, a lover of details and stories.
You are in a similar situation as I am, hopefully somewhat local, passionate about something and not afraid to share it, looking for someone to connect with.
