This is last minute Christmas shopping territory. We're getting crap together, or cleaning, or cooking, or baking for that family get together in a couple days. We're (well, I am) dreading having to spend time with our SO's family.

I'll get done what I need to, but I also need a bit of respite. Get my mind off of things. Think happy thoughts. Think horny thoughts. Think of someone interesting, engaging, funny, and desirous.

Do you want that too?

There's such a huge gulf between myself and my wife that it seems I can fit a whole other relationship in it. That means that I'm open a gamut of possibilities. FWB? Hot, Steamy Liasons? Chat buddy? Long term affair? Yea, open to all of it. It will take time to get there, though. I'm in no rush.

Chemistry is key, and hard to come by. I have no expectations here. I look at a chat with someone new as a lottery scratch-off. Sure, I'm probably not going to win anything (or I get a dollar out of it. What's the metaphoric equivalent to this? A titty pic?), but there's that brief moment of time where ANYTHING is possible. And that, in and of itself, does feel good.

So, although I'm not in a rush, I find that confirming the chemistry in-person is there is important to keep it going. I will want to find time to meet at least to say 'hey' and then awkwardly go back home like nothing happened, delete all of our chats, and go into a hobo cave for a month.

I've been taking good care of myself. I got a ways to go, but I'm confident that the work I've done shows. I hope you take care of yourself, too. And, if it's self care, let me help with that :P.

I hope you're also relatively close. I want to spend more time getting at someone then getting to them.
