You know those looks that George and Mary Bailey give one another? The looks that say everything from “I adore every moment with you” to “Let’s send Uncle Billy home and get busy!” Perhaps I’m projecting a bit…
I’m a married dad, an educated professional, a lover of music and a fan of the obscure. I’m also experiencing that holiday melancholy we all know: the season of families and traditions and taking stock of the past year and the year that lies ahead. I don’t know about you, but this season of life is a tough one. At middle age (ok, maybe a liiiiitle past….) I find that I haven’t felt true love. That feeling of nervous excitement, the butterflies I’ve heard so much about (alas, always a caterpillar but never a butterfly).
Not looking to break up anyone’s marriage or turn life upside down, just looking to connect with another soul. Maybe an affair to get us into the new year, maybe a romance for the the rest of our lives - I’m open to any possibility.
Let’s meet at Martini’s for a drink, and then maybe stop by the Building and Loan and lock ourselves in the vault for a few hours! ;)
