This is a bit of a minefield, isn’t it? Trying to cut through all the noise and make an impression. Let’s face it, there’s a veritable sea of men on here all vying for attention, and the U.K. scene is decidedly small.

Let me throw my hat into the ring:

I’m M 50, with dark, short hair (although it’s a bit salt and pepper these days) and a dadbod-a-go go.

I don’t feel 50, but I suppose no one does. People say I don’t look 50, but I’ll let you be the judge.

My situation is not uncommon: married for a long time, DB, living as friends. That old chestnut.

I’m looking for a secret companion. Someone to bring the spark back into my life. Someone in a similar position, who feels undervalued at home and wants more.

A few things about me:

• I love cooking and I’m rather good at it. I love pottering in the kitchen for hours on my rest days
• Music is hugely important to me
• I’m a lover of good film and tv with fairly eclectic tastes
• I’m a coffee man. Not being from these shores, tea is a British affectation that I have simply not embraced
• I’m a bit of an artsy, Lefty type
• If you think Brexit was a good idea, I fear we most likely will not get along
• My brain is chock-full of lots of useless knowledge, but thankfully not in a Cliff Clavin kind of a way
• I firmly believe that reality TV is one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I’m looking for a someone who also wants more. Someone who feels unappreciated and taken for granted at home. I suppose I’m generally attracted to curvy, natural women. Ideally you’d be someone who lives reasonably close to London so we can look at meeting.

I’d be looking to move to something a bit more secure to swap face pics early on to see if we like the look of each other.
