I will be covering a lot of spoilers from chapter 20 so read at your own risk. In chapter 20 we have Verthandi going back to the past, in a constant loop of going to the future and the past. The past seems to be altering the future since Shu calls her Norn, the same fake name that Vertha from the past used to avoid being identified. Some things leave me very confused, especially because we don't see Vertha awakening after coming out of her coma. I was expecting an emotional reunion with Admin, but it seems to simply be a time jump after the events of Sasanami. Everything should be clarified over time, since this story always presents consistency and few plot holes. This chapter makes me very happy. After Verthandi has been left aside for so long, it's her time to shine. It's a truly long, interesting story and made with care. Having said all that, I have a theory. I believe that Tarina is another personality of Verthandi. I really don't know because I'm 18% into the story. I've never gotten spoilers from CN. This is a genuine theory. Several things make me think about it. Tarina has an appearance that is extremely similar to Verthandi's. They grew up together in the same hospital. The admin from the past also said that Verthandi's bane energy symptoms were similar to Tarina's illness. So many things can't be coincidences. Tarina is Verthandi's bane powers, her other personality, her other half. I really don't know, but I think of something like that. The key to resolving this chapter will be to join Tarina and then repair the errors in the timeline.
