I'm a big fan of the Iron Children; Ethan's relaxed and easy-going nature, along with his design and leadership, really make me appreciate him as a character. All the silly quarrels among the Iron Children make me find them an amusing group, but we haven’t seen them in a long time. Ethan's first appearance was in the Neuhansa arc, where he was like the final boss, incredibly strong and effortlessly defeating everyone. After that, he appeared in the Anubis Marduk and Kingu arc, but not as the central focus, only in the shadows. Since then, we haven’t seen them again. Will we see him again, and how could that happen? The Iron Children have kind of been left behind; Verthandi is extremely powerful at this point, so the situation could easily reverse, with Ethan and the Iron Children being easily beaten. Could the Iron Children receive a power-up? Perhaps with Sobek becoming stronger and awakening a new version, even if he's not playable, and Ethan Zero One Olhein maybe upgrading their armor? I don’t know; maybe they could face an enemy weaker than Verthandi, which would mean they wouldn’t need to get stronger. Ethan seems like an anti-hero who wants to achieve his goals but isn’t purely evil or doing bad things for pleasure. This is shown when he could have killed Baldr, Verthandi, and the other modifiers but didn’t. I’m kind of rooting for that group’s success, whatever it is they’re aiming to accomplish in the end.
