My personal hypothesis for the functionality of static electricity combined with magnetism for flight applications.
Post Body

Hear me out!

Imagine if you will a vehicle that has a conductive metal coil that is continuous; like a ring or loop. Then imagine that there are magnetic fibers that cling on to the entirety of the coil. If the core of the planet is metal and magnetic then the fibers surrounding the coil would inevitably be drawn towards the Earth, but if by the utilization of static electricity is applied to these fibers and alters the polarity of attraction, is it possible that the opposite force would propel the vehicle skyward? I ask this, because it is common that whenever a metal object that’s magnetic rubs against a magnet it has the potential of it becoming magnetic as well. With that being a widely known fact, it’s possible that if you were to apply the same truth to the fibers and the coil that the coil would be able to posses magnetic characteristics. Then if the continuous coil uses the theory of static electricity as a means for this transfer of “power” (the friction/rubbing of the magnetic fibers against the metal coil create force/energy/power) and then that could allow the vehicle to use this hypothetical method possibly as the source of enabling flight.

There’s a great deal more to this theory of adapting magnetism and static electricity into a new propulsion system for flight, but I don’t know if I have the appropriate vocabulary to comprehensively describe how it works in my head. I’m am not going to subscribe to calling myself any sort highly educated individual of aerospace engineering or any other sort of person who has a explicit amount of knowledge for the purpose of a career pursuit, but I was a member of the United States Marine Corps, and I served in the field of aviation where I worked on both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, and was responsible for the technical publications library for one of the squadrons I was assigned to during my contract. I only chose to add this information as a means of reference to account for the limited understanding of the currently used mechanics of flight.

Please, allow me ability to be fallible and human.

To any members who choose to comment: You are completely free to respectfully disagree a/o critique my hypothesis, but understand that my deciding to present my theories potential in this topic is not without risking a lot of my own motivation as a constant student and pursuer of knowledge in the universe.
