so i’ve been in college 2 months or so, and i’ve been struggling with girls. over last summer in my hometown, i was beginning to have girls interested in me and was able to have the option of dating people if i wanted to, which i expected to carry over into college, which it hasn’t. i don’t understand my struggles, as i’m confident, polite, kind, honest, generous, i make girls laugh, and they seem to like me but as soon as a third date comes around they’re quick to let me know they’d only like to be friends. i have multiple hobbies that i’m good at which help me to distract myself from feeling bummed out which is nice, but i don’t understand why i can’t seem to get a girl when the guys down the hall from me, who spend what time they have leftover from studying playing video games, watching tv, and boozing are able to get girls, but i cant. im well read, im good at chess, i lift weights daily, i box a couple times a week, i play the guitar but it all comes to zip. i’m not a bad looking guy by any means either, and i’m 6’1” and in visibly good shape, so i don’t see my physical appearance as being a hamper in any way on my game. i’ve just been feeling sort of frustrated by the whole thing lately, and would really appreciate some advice. thank you :)
