I’m not voting for Trump, ever.

Contrary to your opinion, I would actually need to see real substance from Harris - her current “progressive” makeover is fake as fuck, I’m from the Bay Area and know her real history.  Idgaf about future elections.  It’s really not my problem if Trump loses and GOP still platforms him, so that’s not playing into my choice now.

Harris needs to show that she’s more than just a donor plant, that she can at a minimum command respect from other world leaders (I’ve seen in person in Corporate Council of Africa that as VP nobody took her seriously at a personal level) and that she can actually be the leader of her party.

Plastering the world with messages about how shitty Trump is just tells me she has no real ideas about how to govern the very tricky economic and social dynamic the country is in right now.

And if neither major party candidate can do that…it’s either 3rd party or I only vote on the down ticket shit and just abstain from voting for POTUS.

Especially for those of us who are actually from the Bay Area and knew her before her VP come up.

Those of us who saw her get 3rd in the primary in 2020 in her own home city Oakland.

If you know her actual background, you know this is a race between two empty suits who are both just “industry plants” and whose entire platforms are driven by their respective sets of major donors.

And if you’re black, there’s literally no difference in outcome.  Your community will continue to get poorer relative to the country under a Democrat or a Republican.  If you think I’m wrong, look at what’s happened to the black community in the Bay Area with 60 unbroken years of local Democrat legislative and executive supermajority.

The whole “saving the world from fascism” doesn’t hit as hard for people who have gotten shit on and deprived of rights by the American state for its entire history (and weren’t even considered full humans for the first 80 years).
