So, around 9pm, I got a text requesting to schedule an interview for a place I applied to. I was asleep at the time, but I replied back an hour later with, "Sure. Sounds good." to their question if I can come in.
They never replied back. My reception is a bit spotty so there's no guarantee they originally sent that text at 9pm. It could have been sent much earlier and my phone was just receiving it then.
Because they haven't replied back, is it fair to assume that there is no interview until I explicitly receive a confirmation? Interview slots for entry level positions like these get filled pretty quickly around here, so I'm assuming they already filled the interview with someone else and they've moved on.
Or do I need to follow up with a text or call to confirm?
