My (17M) extremely close friend (17F) reached out to me about wanting to disconnect herself from everyone including me. Of course, I wanted her to do what she wants to do; whatever she feels she needs, and long story short, we essentially said our goodbyes. She didnāt have a reason, necessarily. She just felt like it was something she needed to do to heal/recover. She felt bad for doing to this me, but I reassured her thatās its ok
āIf you love someone, you set them freeā right?
I respected her wishes and now sheās gone. For how long? Iām not sure, but how do I cope with this? I loved her and she loved me. She wanted to be with me as much as I did with her, and now I donāt know what to do.
Any advice is helpful. Thank you.
