I'm lonely and live in a metro area and know of a bar/ lounge that tends to be pretty bustling on Friday and Saturday. I've never tried before but I was wondering if it might be worth it to go out to the bar in the middle of the week for a few drinks to see if I can meet any women. I'm hoping that it might be a bit quieter so that I can have some actual conversation. Is this possibly worth it or am I almost certain to end up wasting my time? As it happens, I'm moving out of my current area very shortly, so I can't really look for anything outside of hookups at the moment, but I might look for something longer term where I'm going.

Edit: I'm a man in his early 30s who is not terribly in shape but has a decent face. Average to maybe a bit below par with conversational skill.
