A customer decided to be a piece of shit at work - How do I not let it get to me?
Post Body

So I had this run-in with a customer at work. I was taking a long time to scan and bag products. It hasn’t even been a week since I joined, so I’m still in the middle of adjusting to things. The man who was next in line got impatient cuz he was waiting for quite a while because of a technical difficulty while dealing with the customer in front of him. He started to taunt me, acting like it was my fault there was something wrong with the computer.

Obviously disgruntled customers are things you have to deal with on a daily basis when working at a grocery store and it’s important to not let it get to you. However, when I think more about it, it just makes me feel pathetic and I just wish it played out differently.
