I 18(m) and my gf 18(f) met later into our senior year of high school at a job we worked at. Ever since we first met we instantly clicked and have been together since April. Since we met very late into our high school year the problem of college and long distance has always been on our minds. since she was top 10 in her class she was accepted into a very prestigious college in California, unfortunately for me I was a straight c student at best and just made it into a local college. This means she will be moving halfway across the country while I will be stuck in my hometown. We had decided about a month before we were leaving for college to do long distance and I think it’s for the best. I genuinely love this girl and I feel that just because it’s harder to be with that person doesn’t mean you should give up . long story short I wanted advice and tips from anyone that has done long distance and I’d love to read some stories ya’ll have.
