Getting redemption with a girl

To start beforehand I’ve never hooked up with anyone before this, I kinda knew the girl but not really… got set up with her, I get all nervous and can’t make the first move. We talk for another hour and then got at it for a couple minutes… we are both pretty awkward. The experience left a mixed taste in her mouth. I like the girl a lot and would love to get with her again but idk how to tell her. Know that I know what I did wrong i want redemption. How do I approach this?
