Should I move countries for university
Post Body

I just need some advice about what I’m thinking of doing

So a bit of backstory my high school years where I live have been horrible have lost all my friends ect and most people from schools around me know of me or have heard rumours and it’s hard to make new friends my age This has lead me to be scared to going to university in the same city as people ask questions and idk how to respond to them also I’m scared that people from my high school will go to the same uni or talk about me (sounds self centred but this has happened after I moved schools)

I was thinking of moving to England for university however there are a few things stopping me… I’m not financially secure I have around 2000 dollars in saving and 1 aud dollars is equal to 1.70 pounds so I would be at a very big disadvantage too i don’t know anyone from England like at all and that isn’t to bad but I do have some social anxiety. the last thing is I would need to get EU citizenship as that would allow for me to get student loans and also pay less on schooling which isn’t hard but it will cost some money so I’m kinda stuck.

But there are a lot of positives as well live in a new city have a fresh start meet new people the school in England is the 5th highest rating university for the courses around the world so it sounds pretty good and I think it would also allow for me to break free from my codependency on my family

Has anyone done something Like this or have any advice am I just trying to run away from my shitt social life or like dose it sound like a good idea
