I 18f normally wouldn’t care about this, but I just got accepted into college and my mom is working so hard to help pay for tuition. It’s to the point where she won’t take time off work to get a surgery she needs because she wants to be able to help pay. I do work but it’s part time and student wage so I’m not making much at all.
From the time I was born until I was 12 my grandma would take all my birthday money and put it in a bank account for me. My mom and I didn’t consent but it was my dad and grandma vs mom.
When I was 15 my parents got a divorce and I went no contact with my grandma and my dad since they were the cause of many mental health problems I still suffer from.
Like I said I normally wouldn’t cause myself the anxiety of speaking to my grandma again but I feel like all this work is killing my mom (not literally).
So how do I go about asking for the money back?
