Hello. First time poster here. So, me (35m) and my partner (31f) recently welcomed a baby girl into our lives. As someone that is label sterile, due to medical problems on my side, having children has been a pipe dream. So, even though I'm excited and happy, some things just aren't adding up.

In late July, I had a circumcision done, due to a various amount of UTI's I contracted in the spring and summer. So, pretty much, there is ZERO sex until you're fully healed. So about early September what where I felt comfortable in obtaining an erection. (It was a LONG 8 weeks of healing.) After which, my partner and I had sex.

So here are the dates, September 10th, is when we had sex. Now on September 14th, she alleges going to the hospital and says she's pregnant. Now this throws me for a loop and I shrug it off as her joking. As she's made a few jokes of this nature. September 20th comes and she shows multiple test showing a positive result. So, this is happening. Now here comes the part of things that aren't adding up for me.

By my calculations, she was 29 weeks and 4 days, when she was born. Now, a week prior to this, she was telling me that the baby was 32-34 weeks along. And after a call today, as she's a premature birth, says they want to wait til she's 37 weeks along to send her home. Which is next week. Now, if we only count when we had sex, from 09/10 to birth day, 04/03, we get 29 weeks and 4 days. It's messing with me that she and the doctors are saying she weeks above developed. Is this kid mine? How off are the calculations from doctors? I'm just unsure and need a reason to get a paternity test.
