I’m not the type of person to leave after not getting my ideal response. I’ve recently been talking to a woman for a while and so I thought I’d ask her out. When I approached her about it she said “I do like you and I think you’re very funny! But I just left an x year relationship that was filled with trauma and I just need more time to heal…” I understand there’s a chance that she isn’t interested. That’s NOT what I’m looking for. I have also been told to give her space. The only problem with that is I am not built like that, and she definitely knows that I’m not built like that. How do I keep the conversation going after that though. I would prefer a woman’s perspective, and will weed out all negative posts. Thanks. Update: she’s agreed to a date.
