A little background: I have been out of work for a while and left my last job due to some personal anxiety and work-place anxiety. I think work in general makes me feel anxious.
Anyways I have two job offers at the moment. One is a lower level but still decent pay and will have training etc. itโs more of a customer service role
The second job is a higher band job similar to my old job which I enjoyed some parts of and others I did not. At the time I was going through some personal things which may have affected my mood and attitude towards the job too. I eventually left due to the overwhelming feeling of anxiety. This second job offer is a very similar role with similar tasks, but I sort of embellished my qualifications and talked my way through the interview. I did not expect to pass the interview but now they said they were impressed with me and want me to start with them.
The dilemma is do I take the higher level role and hope I can adjust to it, the money and the level of the role will be more beneficial. But I am thinking if I will be able to cope and/or enjoy the role. Or I take the lower level job and itโs hopefully a lot easier on me and enjoyable from a stress point-of-view.
