Today I(25F) received an email from my boss’s assistant stated that I had been terminated on the basis of poor performance in my role. Mind you I have been sick all week due testing positive for The virus . Up until this point, my boss never discussed my performance with me or alerted me of Poor performance. From the day I started the position, my boss would not schedule meetings, did not clearly define expectations, provide trainings,etc. This was my first time in a role like this and my boss told me I would receive training but I never did. My termination letter requested I turn in my work gear by Monday but I am still positive for the virus and no one will answer my calls or text for me to let them I am sick.
