It's for a tattoo for myself.
Edit: HELPED
I usually try to control most aspects of my life and usually when something goes how I didn't expect it to, or rather out of my control I usually feel frustrated and anxious about the possibility of it happening again.
This year I've found myself saying 'It is what it is' a lot and this phrase puts me at peace and makes me realise that it's okay if things didn't how I wanted them to and that it's also okay if things aren't under my control. This phrase helps me accept the situation and come to terms and actually makes me feel a lot better.
I don't want the entire phrase on me and I'm someone who prefers small tattoos. I was wondering if there is a word (or symbol) that sums up my feelings and essence of 'It is what it is'.
Also, I'm sorry if this isn't the right subreddit for this. I've already posted in the language subreddit and wanted more options
Thank you in advance!
