Wanna hang out with friends without offending his GF

So I(f24) have this friend(m24) who I'm friends with his girlfriend(f20) but I just wanna hang out with him today but she always invites herself and she's a really jealous/easily offended person so I don't want to offend her because that's not my intention but how do I broach the subject of just the two of us hanging out without offending her? Advice? Thoughts?
She also knows I would never try anything with him because I'm married with kids.
