I'm a soccer coach, today I was supposed to cover for a game for another coach. The procedure is to send a line up before the weekend to ensure the covering coach is w the game and knows the player's name. The line up was not sent to me and I was unaware of the game! Boss calls me pissed at 8:20, the game starts at 8:30. I show up and he is coaching the game and says: "You are not checking the schedule!!" I say: "I was unaware of this game, no line up was sent to me." He tells me to shut the fuck up and get out his face.

I just went home, but I'm unwilling to be verbally abused and bullied, I'm afraid that if I simply accept his behavior it will set a precedent and become the norm.
