How to tell someone to let go?
Post Body

Have a cousin who’s trying to control her untrustworthy boyfriend. I said there’s no point in a relationship if there’s no trust, but she wants him.. guy treats her ok, but i think could be better. Like he doesnt abuse her, but he also doesnt care much about her anymore.. cousin is not mature and has quite a temper and sense of ‘entitlement’.. like why does she have this and not me, why do i always have to be the one to suffer.. that kind of thought.. threaten to hurt herself.. thats not healthy, we know that.. but she doesnt see it.. i cant get the message across to her that there’s no point keeping a person if he doesnt want to stay... her and bf 23yo.. anything anyone find impactful that can at least wake her up that really theres no use to try control someone who doesnt want you? And if someone wants you you wont have to control him and do all these things?
