I want to meet up with friends this week but husband is freaking out about the Delta Variant. He has reason to be cautious; he's immunocompromised, with stage 3 kidney disease. COVID is more dangerous for him than for me. However we are both fully vaccinated.
I don't want to spend the rest of my life shut up in the house. It's just, when I told him I had plans wednesday night, he was like "please don't do this." He's so scared.
It's been 18 months. I miss my friends. It really, really seems like everyone else is just going back to normal life. What should I do?
(Context: I live in New Hampshire.)
