Should I feel bad for lying to my parents to hangout with GFs family for 4th of July?

Post Body

I’ll try to keep it simple. My girlfriend (18F) and I (19M) were planning to have 4th of July with her family since I haven’t truly met them fully yet. Due to some miscommunication and complications, I was invited and disinvited a couple times until it was finally decided that I could come over. I told my parents about the times I was invited and disinvited countless of times and they told me I shouldn’t go over there, and they would rather have my girlfriend to come over here or just only us hanging out together instead of her and I being with her family. Now, her family is pretty shitty in some areas but I know she still loves them and has her moments with them, that’s why I know she wouldn’t leave them for 4th of July, which my parents thought was “unfair.” So, I lied to my parents, went over to my girlfriends parents, and had a great time. My parents figured and are mad at me but I just don’t regret going over there. I feel bad for lying to them and now my parents lost respect for my girlfriend, which I hate the most because I was the one who decided that I would go. I know I need to apologize but should I feel bad for not regretting to go?

TL;DR I lied to my parents and went to my GF parents when they didn’t want me to
