Dog still leaking after pyometra surgery.

so my had pyometra surgery on Thursday, in which they removed her utuerus and ovaries. She had an open form of it so pus had continued to come out. Its been around 4-5 days after the surgery, but pus is still occasionally coming out, in noticeable amounts. Is this normal?
