I need help with how to go about my suicidal thoughts.

So, to make a long story short, I've been feeling suicidal for the past few days. I can't go to a therapist because I know I'll be admitted, I can't be admitted because I have to work so I can pay my bills and meds are not an option because I've had bad experiences with medication since I was eight. My only two options are a) keep it to myself and work through it or b) bring it up to a friend. Here's the thing, I only have two friends. One of them is busy with school and work and relationship troubles and the other one is the same thing minus school so I really don't want to add anymore stress to their lives. Do I confide in them anyway or do I keep it to myself?
