How to handle being hired with other prospects
Post Body

Hey all, So basically due to the virus most places I’ve applied to are slowly getting in touch with me. I did the phone interview for two places weeks ago and both checked references (one had a couple week delay) that being said the more proactive job had me come in for a half day interview type thing and is having me start a two week trial. The slower job just finally got back to me and is wanting to talk about next steps. That being said the job that’s further along in the process is offering more than I expected, slower work environment and seem to really be impressed with me overall. I haven’t talked to the slower job yet in much detail. What do I do and how do I go about it. I think the quicker job is perfect and more my speed but I don’t want to not pass the trial and be out two job possibilities in that slim case.

New development: the quick company is asking if I would be ok moving the trial another week. My interview/ shadow was last fri and now they want to wait two Monday’s from now. I could say no but I don’t want to come off inflexible.
