I got a new cell # about 4 months ago in addition to my normal cell. I use it for work purposes only as I work on call shift work. My idea was that noone has this # except my S.O. for emergencies and work. This way I can sleep during the day/weird hrs and know when they phone rings I'm going to work.
When I first got the # I was getting texts from subscriptions etc. I texted back stop to stop getting the messages. In the last week I have been getting texts from actual people saying "hey, I got a call from this # who is this?" Etc when I haven't even had the phone on in days.
Now, people have been calling me saying I have called them. Some of them are getting pretty aggressive as well as calling me in the middle of the day when I worked all night. I even checked my phone history to see if it was a pocket dail or something but nothing.
Is it possible that someone else has the same # as me? I plan on changing the # with my provider at a later date. Just wondering if I'm going to go thru this all over again.
TLDR: New cell #. Angry ppl calling me saying I'm calling them during times my phone is off. It's not me.
