I have been dating this girl for a little over a year. About a month ago, I suggested we see other people because we are both young and our lives are headed in different directions. She is in college and I work full time about an hour away. So after about 2 weeks she comes to me and says she wants us to work because she loves me and that I understand her better than anyone else. I came clean to her that I had hooked up with a girl once while we were dating about a month before I broke up with her. I felt bad and came clean to her and said that if she had hooked up with anyone that I wouldn’t care and I was down to keep us together. She told me she hooked up with a random guy and I completely understood and said I am glad we have come clean to each other. She was understanding and was happy for us to be together again. Fast forward another month: Last night I find out from one of best friends that she hooked up with one of my other best friends a week after we broke up and she didn’t tell me. She actively lied to me about hooking up with one of my best friends and only told me about that other random dude even when I have her a chance to come clean and start fresh. I am at a loss for how I should handle the situation because 1) I gave her the chance to open up to me about being with anyone as I told her about the other girl I was with and she completely omitted that she had fucked one of my best friends. Obviously I understand that I fucked up by getting with another girl a month before I ended things and I apologized profusely and thought we were on the same page. The funny thing is I introduced her to my best friend and pretty much all of her friends now are ones I introduced her to. Can someone please give me some solid advice how to handle this? As of now I plan on talking to her and saying that I am disappointed she didn’t tell me and that I don’t want to continue our friendship and that it is time to move on.
