So basically i was on a date with somebody, and the conversation naturally lead to a controversial topic, and because im an open book, and im comfortable talking politics i voiced my thoughts on the topic to which he responded with a quick, "im leaving" and when asked why, said to my face with a grimace that I "was a terrible person".
Obviously a pretty bad first date, but my issue is that my guard was completely down because of how okey i thought things were going, and im still stressed the day after about it and cant shake off the weight of being insulted. Any advice on how can i better destress about this and move on?
