I want to thank you for reading this in advance.

Lately I've been feeling really down on myself. I felt this way before numerous times and now it is affecting my relationship. I am a rising senior in college with somewhat of an idea of what I want to do after college but haven't found what makes me truly happy.

The problem is, I'm not motivated enough and lazy to do the research and find out what will make me happy that is also a good source of income. That's the way I've been all my life.

I'm lazy, unmotivated, and just don't want to do any of the real adult stuff. I put things off. After one shift of work, I don't want to do anything until my next shift. I'm dependent on other people to solve my solutions.

I've recognized this and tried to come to a solution, but I only tried for a couple of days and wasn't motivated enough to get motivated.

So people of reddit, How can I become more motivated, less lazy and more proactive in my life and everyday things? I really want to change and right now my girlfriend is my motivation to do this, but I don't know how.
