Have a friend who I speak to fairly regularly, she talks about her life, her drama etc for hours on end, I don't usually mind because I'm mostly a listener.
The issue I'm having is, on the odd occasion I want to talk about something having to do with me, she will immediately say "Oh I know" in a dismissive fashion, even if she has no knowledge of, or any info about the subject matter, so she can start talking about her own issues again.
I am trying to find a way to point this out without being too abrasive, or sounding too whiny, because it's getting to where I don't want to talk to her because it's a one sided conversation.
She's having major problems at work because of this, she has been reported to management for being dismissive and abrasive in her interactions.
