So i met this girl after getting out of a roughly 4 year abusive relationship. I wasnt expecting to meet someone so soon but I was at a bar and we just started talking. We have a ton in common snd immediately she started texting me and FaceTiming me everyday. We discussed somethings about our future like places to live, having kids, etc and i originally said i didnt want kids. This set her back because she wants kids. I could tell it bothered her but we continued talking afterwards. Now i thought about it and im actually open to having kids with the right person and i told her that. We planned a first date and she canceled last minute and then cut things off randomly. We texted a little more after that and she explained that the kids comment threw her off and that i wasnt affectionate enough during our facetimes despite me complimenting her and discussing more relationship things during the FaceTimes and flirting during texts. She was open to giving me another chance but was concerned i would be faking it going forward even though i tried to reassure her that my feelings are true and that kids could be a possibility in my future. Now i have feelings for her (probably a crush) so im wondering if i should reach out to her again and try to plan a date or atleast talk to her again or if its best to just leave her alone and move on.
