Thinking I might be going crazy.

Today at the middle of the night, I come out to smoke a cig. It’s difficult to describe the view of my house from the highway that runs almost perpendicular to my front door, but you wouldn’t know it was there unless you looked for it.

I see a car pulled over on the farthest end of the highway. I peer at it trying to see if it’s a cop. I’m standing in the doorway and the light is on behind me, he could definitely make out my sillouette. Then I saw a camera flash, like a smart phone flash, pointed from over the car at me. I went inside immediately, and came back out to see if they were still there. They were slowly driving off.

Yesterday there were two cops cars around the same at the opposite end. They had their lights on and left when I came out. They could’ve just finished giving someone a ticket.

Am I tripping? I can’t come up with a reason why someone would be doing this.
