I currently have beat black eyes- I’m struggling to sleep. I’ve switched between constant overnight and daily and soemtimes even evening shifts. I haven’t had a super consistent sleep schedule bc of being called in often. I now when I lay down, even though exaughstion it’s like my brain is still wondering what furred there are to put out which either leads to not sleeping at all or going to sleep then 20 minutes later I’m up and up for good.
Any tips to help this? I work in healthcare.
Ive been taking "NEVISS Sleep Aid Gummies" purchased on Amazon. They don't contain melatonin which can cause side-effects and dependency on it. But you can try melatonin supplements if other supplements don't work and you're really desperate.
Keep your bedroom cold and dark.
Journaling before bed can help reduce the thoughts bouncing around your head while you're trying to sleep. Try to put the phone down an hour before bed if possible.
Having a consistent sleep schedule does help but unfortunately that doesn't seem like an option for you currently. You may wanna look for another job with more consistent hours for the sake of your health.
