Is blocking people after a short dating stage normal?
Post Body

There was a gal (22F) that I (23M) had a few dates with last year, but it never went into a relationship. Basically, just found out that my number’s probably been blocked. (When I went to send a text, the send button was green instead of blue).

But, we’re still “cool” over social media. We congratulate one another on an accomplishment, like posts or stories. I don’t text her regularly at all and go out of my way to make sure I’m not viewing her stories or liking her stuff that often whatsoever to just minimize interaction. But when we do say stuff, it’s kinda like generic friendly acquaintance stuff. I haven’t been unfollowed or restricted or anything.

Is the number thing not a big deal? Is it? Or am I blowing it out of proportion and maybe she switched carriers or got a new number or something?

(PS, I apologize if this comes off as stupid. I don’t have much dating experience and New Year’s is like the worst time of year for me for a lot of reasons.)
