Throw away for obvious reasons.
So my wife and I have been together for 10 years. Dating 6 and married for 4, and we have two small children together.
A few days ago I received a letter from a man looking to make amends and come clean that he and my wife had sex a couple of times a year into my relationship with her. He said she cut things off and nothing happened later. Apparently this is part of his therapy to come clean and acknowledge past mistakes.
This has crushed me and I have no idea what to do about it. Do I confront her? Break up? Or let it be?
I’ve been thinking about this non stop and have no idea what to do.
12 step programs include step 9: Made direct amends to people I have wronged wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
So, to contact you about this is pure bullshit!
I would investigate this before I got to invested in anger....
This sounds kinda off.
