i don't know how to get out of this toxic pattern with my bf

we've been together for almost 2 years, and the same cycle keeps happening. we'll have a fight, and then he apologizes and says he’ll change, but he never does. i get so caught up in the apology that i forget everything else, but then it's like i’m just stuck in this loop of waiting for the next breakdown.
