19m So a little context I was homeschooled in a very Christian household i myself am not religious but my parents still "pray for me" and I just moved out on my own while I was out I started dating for the first time after getting nothing for about I year I met a girl who was very getto but she was the first girl to show an intrest she even gave me my first kiss but she was not very talkative and would be radio silent for a week at a time and after telling my parents about our relationship they strongly recommend I break up with her and during a period when I felt very low about myself I did I don't know if I actually should have or not. Anyway this isn't the first time my parents told me to do something as an adult is that normal? I'd not how should I go about telling them without ruining the relationship with them or have them use it as a guilt thing when I bring it up?
