honestly don’t know what I was thinking today. I went into target looking for some shave oil. they didn’t have the scent I wanted so I ended up just browsing around the rest of the store. I saw the elf x Stanley collab and the lip oil colors were so pretty. I took 2 with the full intentions of paying for them.
I then went into the clothes sections and hit the jackpot. Everything was so cute and I was loading up things to try on. I must have had at least 10 sweaters in my hand. Should have grabbed a cart but oh well I didn’t because I wasn’t planning on trying on anything. The lip oils I had in my hand were covered by sweaters and the fitting room attendant didn’t see me carry them into the room.
So now I’m in the locked fitting room stall, with small lip glosses that will fit in my purse. I don’t know what I was thinking, but I put them in my purse and just continued on trying on clothes. Not much worked out but I did get a sweater. I paid for my sweater and left the store. The two lip oils came with me and no employee stopped me.
Now I’m home and feeling guilty. Why did I take them?? It was so stupid. They were only $16, I should have just paid the money and bought them properly. Will target ban me if I take them back and ask to pay for them? Or should I try and sneak the product back inside? They have not been used, they are unopened inside original packaging.
